The flat is located in an old Viennese building. Before we converted it into a flat, the shop stood empty for several years. Before that, it was a piano repair shop, a Vespa workshop and a hairdresser's shop, among other things.
A special accommodation awaits you, where you can feel at home during your stay in Vienna. The well equipped and designed apartment allows you to relax between sightseeing and shopping. Here you can live, cook and make yourself comfortable.
Check-in is possible 24/7 during the agreed period and is very uncomplicated, as you can enter the flat at any time.
SUSTAINABILITY
In many cities, more and more living space is being displaced by tourist flats. As a result, living space for the local people is becoming scarce and often no longer affordable. When you book our flat, you are not taking away anyone's living space. You live in a former shop that has been empty for several years. The new use will also improve the cityscape and revitalise the ground floor area.
The flat is supplied with 100% green electricity, heated with infrared panels, and hot water is produced by an e-boiler - so no natural gas is needed. We deliberately refrained to build in an air conditioner, as the flat is located on the ground floor of an old Viennese building with thick brick walls, modern windows and additional added floor-insulation.

LEARN VIENNESE ;)
You don't speak Viennese? No problem – you only have to learn one word ;)
Ottakring is an open and colourful multicultural district that is hip and modern, but also unadorned and authentic. Due to its good location near the centre and its diversity, the area has become a very popular place to live. Your neighbours in the building are a hairdresser, an accordion workshop and a pub. There are numerous bakeries and supermarkets in close by the apartment.
The Brunnenmarkt (Europe's longest permanent market) is only a few hundred metres from the apartment. Directly adjacent to the Brunnenmarkt is the Yppenplatz, where you will find many nice coffee shops, restaurants and free public W-LAN. TIP: Every Saturday from 6 am to 12 pm there is a farmers' market on Yppenplatz. You can buy local products, flowers, wine, honey, cheese and much more.
The Thaliastraße (a revitalised shopping street) also offers you several restaurants and shopping opportunities.
For beer and wine lovers:
The Ottakringer brewery is located about 600 m from your flat. In the shop you can buy beer from your district, and occasionally there are events and festivals on the premises.
On Yppenplatz, you can buy craft beer and various good wines from local producers every Saturday at the farmers' market.
